The "e-Visa" electronic visa system, which permits foreign citizens and stateless persons to enter, stay in, exit, and transit through the country, has been officially launched in Turkmenistan. Implemented in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On Migration," this new digital system began operating on October 1, 2026, via a dedicated website on the Internet. The new digital service provides a practical opportunity to significantly save time for foreigners visiting Turkmenistan, transition document management into an electronic format, and complete all processing procedures in a short time under a simplified framework.
