On October 1, the Investment Forum of Turkmenistan began its work in Ashgabat. The Esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, sent a congratulatory address to the participants and guests of this international event. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

In his address, the Head of State emphasized that this event, held in the year celebrating the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of our Motherland, is of great importance in ensuring the dynamic socio-economic and innovative development of the country. It was noted that the forum will serve as an effective event for increasing industrial capacity, diversifying the economy, and adopting a "green" economy alongside modern digital technologies.

The international forum creates opportunities for expanding active engagement between foreign investors, international financial and banking institutions, as well as the public and private sectors of Turkmenistan. During the conference, participants will closely familiarize themselves with the country's investment opportunities, economic potential, and competitive industrial-innovative strategy, while discussing new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.

The President of Turkmenistan drew special attention to major projects of regional significance, particularly the Serhetabat–Herat gas pipeline—a key section of the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) pipeline—as well as power generation and communication network projects. As highlighted, along with successfully integrating into the global economic space, the country places great emphasis on integrating digital financial technologies and advanced innovations into all sectors and consistently developing its investment policy.
