On October 24, the sixth meeting of the International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri» was held in Turkmenistan to mark the Day of Turkmen Alabaý. This significant forum was aimed at enhancing the global fame of the alabaý dogs, which are a point of national pride, and expanding international cooperation in this field.

The event, held at the headquarters of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding and the International Association «Türkmen alabaý itleri», was attended by officials, specialists, foreign cynologists, and dog breeders. During the meeting, special attention was paid to preserving the purity of the breed by utilizing the achievements of modern science.

As part of the meeting, an exhibition of creative works celebrating national heritage and the bravery of alabaýs was organized. The results of cooperation with UNESCO were also highlighted.

In accordance with the Decree of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, specialists were awarded the honorary title of «Honored Dog Breeder of Turkmenistan». At the end of the event, membership certificates were presented to new members of the association, followed by statements from foreign representatives.
