Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan Demonstrates Growth in Production Indicators

On October 2, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a Cabinet of Ministers meeting via the digital system, at which the results of the work carried out in the country over the first nine months of this year were summed up.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the results of the work carried out in January–September 2026 to increase oil and gas production and expand the routes for their supply to world markets.

As reported, during the specified period the State Concern "Türkmennebit" fulfilled the oil production plan at 109.1 percent, and the oil refining plan at the relevant plants at 106.8 percent.

The plan for gasoline production was fulfilled at 119.3 percent, diesel fuel at 114.7 percent, lubricating oils at 100 percent, liquefied gas at 112 percent, and natural and associated gas production at 109.1 percent.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of consistently improving the activities of the oil and gas sector and producing high-quality products by operating the enterprises of this complex at full capacity. The Head of State also instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue work on discovering new oil and gas fields.
