On September 26, a festive concert featuring cultural figures and masters of arts was held at the Congress Center in Ashgabat, with the participation of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on the occasion of the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence.

The concert, hosted at the Congress Center, was also attended by members of the Government, heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, representatives of ministries, sectoral departments, scientific and creative intelligentsia, higher education institutions, mass media, all velayats of the country, as well as numerous foreign guests who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the festive celebrations.

The concert program opened with patriotic songs dedicated to the great achievements of the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, glorifying the successes achieved by our country over the years of Independence. The performed songs and melodies served as a wonderful ode to the current achievements of the Motherland.

Wonderful performances by musicians, popular folk and pop singers, as well as children's creative groups vividly reflected the high milestones passed by our country in the Epoch of Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State. The leitmotif of the entire concert program was pieces glorifying the achievements of the modern era, writing glorious pages into the modern history of the Fatherland and inextricably linked with the names of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. It is thanks to the unity of the people, their creative potential, and the successful implementation of the far-sighted initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero-Serdar that Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan has transformed into a dynamically and harmoniously developing state.

In Ashgabat, as well as in the city of Arkadag, velayat and etrap centers, and in every corner of our sunny Fatherland, the socio-cultural level of the people is steadily rising. The number of modern residential buildings, kindergartens, schools, health and cultural centers, sports facilities, administrative and office buildings, as well as industrial and road-transport infrastructure objects is growing. The radically transforming appearance of the cities and villages of Turkmenistan clearly testifies to the enormous potential and power of our state. During the concert, these successes achieved by the Motherland over the years of Independence were celebrated in uplifting songs and reflected in video presentations.

The song «Bedew», performed during the concert with lyrics by the Hero-Arkadag, became a wonderful ode to the rapid development of the Motherland and its achievements over the years of Independence. This song, glorifying the «heavenly» horses, harmoniously combined with a video reel reflecting the events of the year «Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses», which are inscribed in golden letters in the modern history of the Fatherland. The composition made an indelible impression on the audience.

The festive concert reflected the identity of modern Turkmen art, the versatility of its genres, and the continuity of traditions. The wonderful and deep-in-content vocal and musical works made a lasting impression on the spectators, who rewarded the artists with stormy applause.

An important place in the concert program was given to love songs performed by domestic pop singers, as well as the best musical works of the peoples of the world. The highlight of the celebration was the energetic kushtdepdi dance, which evoked universal enthusiasm.

At the end of the festive concert, the song «Öňe, öňe, diňe öňe, jan Watanym Türkmenistan!» was performed by all participants. This wonderful work by the Hero-Arkadag became a unique anthem inspiring our people to rapid development and the achievement of set high goals. This song is also an expression of our people's pride in the current happy era of the Fatherland, which, under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero-Serdar, is confidently moving towards its bright future.

Then, those gathered cordially congratulated the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the 35th anniversary of sacred independence, wishing them good health, longevity, and success in their large-scale activities in the interests of the state and society.

Expressing gratitude for the congratulations, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated those gathered on the momentous holiday—the Independence Day of the country—and, wishing everyone success, departed from the venue.
