The delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the 15th International Investment Congress «AIM Congress 2026», held on September 7–9 in Dubai. The delegation was headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates Bayram Bayramov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Held under the theme “Reimagining Global Development: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future,” the congress brought together heads of government institutions, representatives of international organizations, and leading business communities. Representatives from 191 countries and organizations took part in the forum.

During the congress, the delegation of Turkmenistan participated in the opening ceremony, as well as thematic sessions dedicated to investment cooperation, economic development, and industrial policy. In particular, a Central Asia panel discussion organized jointly with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, a ministerial roundtable meeting, and sessions on the development of free economic zones and industrial policy were held.

The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production, and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan. They took part in discussions on current areas of international investment cooperation.

Within the framework of the event, representatives of Turkmenistan held bilateral meetings with representatives of international financial institutions, major companies, and specialized investment promotion organizations, discussing new opportunities for expanding cooperation. The delegation also visited the international exhibition exposition organized as part of the congress.
