On August 28, a meeting was held on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) between Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Bayram Bayramov and Director General of the UAE Arabian Horse Society Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi.

The parties discussed the further development of cooperation in the horse breeding sector. The United Arab Emirates side praised the visit of the Society's delegation to Turkmenistan on August 5–7, 2026, noting the constructive nature of the meetings held. The guests were particularly impressed by the performance of the "Galkynysh" equestrian group, as well as the conditions and infrastructure of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the Horse Breeding Scientific and Production Center in Arkadag city.

The counterpart was informed about the Akhalteke Horse Championship, which is being held for the first time on September 4–6, 2026, at the Peelbergen Equestrian Centre in Kronenberg, Kingdom of the Netherlands. The event is targeted at an international audience and aims to promote the Akhalteke breed abroad.
