On July 18, a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held via a digital system under the chairmanship of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. During the meeting, the Chairperson of the Mejlis, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, provided detailed information on the measures being implemented to modernize and improve the country's legislative framework. This was reported by an online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

In accordance with the principles of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the adopted state programs, consistent work is being carried out to draft new laws. In this regard, proposals received from various ministries and sectoral departments are thoroughly analyzed, and necessary amendments and additions are introduced into the existing legislative acts in line with modern requirements.

It was also noted within the framework of the meeting that credential letters were accepted from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya to Turkmenistan. During the bilateral meeting, issues related to developing and elevating the mutually beneficial cooperative relations between the two states to a new level were discussed.

Productive work continues toward strengthening international cooperation and interparliamentary relations. Members of the country's parliament actively participated in several training seminars organized by the entities of the United Nations (UN) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in cooperation with the relevant state institutions of our country.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that new draft laws play a vital role in further strengthening the state's legal system and regulating social relations, and noted the necessity of consistently continuing activities in this direction.
