On June 18, a meeting was held in Islamabad between Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov and Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, during which the possibilities for the further development of Turkmen-Pakistani cooperation in the field of education, science and academic exchanges were discussed. This was reported by a press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.
The parties noted the existence of significant opportunities for expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan in various areas. In this context, an important role was assigned to interaction in the field of higher education, scientific research and specialist training.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation between higher educational institutions, the expansion of student and academic exchanges, as well as the implementation of joint educational and research projects.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue regular dialogue on the implementation of mutually beneficial projects aimed at the further strengthening of ties in the educational, scientific, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
