On June 17, an Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to Ahal velayat to review the progress of the ongoing grain harvest season in the region on-site. As a result of large-scale reforms implemented to modernize the country's agricultural sector and ensure food abundance, modern innovative technologies are currently widely utilized in the farming fields. During the visit, our Arkadagly Hero-Serdar arrived at the wheat field within the «Gäwers» farmers' association in Ak bugday etrap. Here, the Head of State was welcomed by the leaders of the agricultural complex and the hakim (governor) of the velayat. The increase in state purchase prices for grain in Turkmenistan, starting from the 2024 harvest, has further stimulated the farmers' enthusiasm for work, strengthening their dedication to gathering the harvest without losses.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov visited the wheat field of D. Muhammetsahedov, an experienced tenant of the «Gäwers» farmers' association, and at his request, gave his blessing to start the new harvest with the words «Bismilla». The Head of State conversed with the tenant, inquiring about his working conditions and the productivity of the fields. The significance of introducing newly developed high-yielding winter wheat varieties such as «Serdar», «Arkadag», «Pyragy» into production was also highlighted.

Furthermore, the President viewed an exhibition of fruit, vegetable, melon, and grain products, as well as bread and bakery items baked from the flour of the new harvest organized in the region. At the conclusion of the visit, Tangryguly Atahallyyev, a Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, reported on the overall progress of the grain harvest season. The Head of State emphasized the necessity of collecting the cultivated grain harvest within a short time and without disruption, and presented valuable gifts to the hard-working tenant.
