On June 13, a ceremony honoring graduates of the Military Academy of Turkmenistan, which trains senior officer personnel and staff, as well as higher educational institutions training specialists for the country's military and law enforcement agencies, took place at the square in front of the Constitution Monument. Before the main celebrations began, the ceremony participants laid flowers at the monuments to the renowned educator, courageous warrior and humanist Berdimuhamet Annayev, erected at Specialized Military School No. 1 named after Berdimuhamet Annayev of the country's Ministry of Defense, and to the head of state's grandfather, honorary veteran of the internal affairs agencies Malikguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as at the base of the monuments of the Memorial Complex «Halk hakydasy» — «Ruhy tagzym», «Milletiň ogullary», «Baky şöhrat».
The participants then lined up at the square in front of the Constitution Monument of Turkmenistan, which has traditionally served as the venue for the ceremony of presenting officer certificates to graduates.
The congratulatory Address of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdшmukhamedov to the graduates, officers and faculty of higher educational institutions of the country's military and law enforcement agencies on the occasion of the current solemn event was read out.
The officer certificates were then presented to the graduates in a solemn atmosphere.
The young officers, filled with a sense of pride for the Fatherland, kneeling before the State Flag of Turkmenistan, took an oath of loyalty to the military oath, selfless devotion to the Motherland, the people and the President of the country, and readiness to worthily carry on the glorious military traditions of their valiant ancestors.
The festive atmosphere of the event and the enthusiasm of the graduates of the Military Academy of Turkmenistan and military higher educational institutions were further enhanced by demonstration performances of the Honor Guard soldiers and the performance of a literary and musical composition.
