This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

The Vice-Prime Minister noted that Turkmenistan's foreign policy attaches great importance to developing mutually beneficial cooperation with the states of the Asian region, including Malaysia. A solid foundation for friendly relations and political dialogue between the two countries was laid during the state and official visits of the Hero-Arkadag. These diplomatic relations have been raised to a new level under the leadership of the Head of State, Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In particular, the President's official visit to Malaysia in December 2024 gave a powerful impetus to bilateral cooperation. Furthermore, the interaction between the two nations within international organizations and in the trade and economic sphere remains highly effective.

After hearing the report, the Esteemed President noted with satisfaction the successful development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia. The Head of State emphasized that the upcoming official visit of the Head of Government of the friendly country to Turkmenistan is of great importance for further strengthening bilateral relations, and instructed to ensure a high level of preparation for this visit.

Malaysia is one of the first states to recognize the Independence and permanent Neutrality of our country. Diplomatic relations, established in 1992, continue to develop at a high level to this day, and the legal framework of the two sides consists of 43 documents.
