On June 12, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bahar Seyidova reported at a government meeting on the ongoing preparations for the Culture Week in Balkan velayat. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age."

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan and on the occasion of the Day of Culture and Art Workers, as well as the Poetry Day of Magtymguly Fragi, corresponding preparatory work is being carried out to organize at a high level the next Culture Week in Balkan Velayat during the period of June 22–27, 2026.

Within its framework, various cultural events in the fields of art and artistic creation are planned, including opening and closing ceremonies of the Culture Week at the "Türkmeniň ak öýi" building in the city of Balkanabat, song and music performances, conferences, exhibitions, creative meetings, literary evenings, film screenings and stage productions.

Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that great attention is paid in Turkmenistan to the development of culture, and that numerous events are organized on the occasion of the Day of Culture and Art Workers, as well as the Poetry Day of Magtymguly Fragi. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to properly prepare and ensure a high level of conduct of the Culture Week.
