On June 11, 2026, an Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Türkiýe, jointly with Pamukkale University in the city of Denizli, organized a scientific conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence. The event was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».

During the conference, participants discussed Turkmenistan's achievements over the years of independence, its international initiatives based on the status of permanent neutrality, as well as prospects for the further development of Turkmen-Turkish relations in the fields of education, science, culture and economy.

In addition, on the sidelines of the events, Turkmenistan's Ambassador to the Republic of Türkiýe Mekan Ishangulyyev held a number of meetings, during which prospects for developing cooperation in the educational, cultural-humanitarian and trade-economic spheres were discussed.
