On June 11, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between a Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and the European Union Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Beata Peksa. This was reported by a press service of a Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of Turkmenistan's interaction with the EU and outlined further steps to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
