In Bucharest, a cultural exhibition was opened to mark the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence

On June 9, 2026, a National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest hosted the opening of the cultural exhibition «Turkmenistan: 35 Years of Independence – A Celebration of Heritage and Culture», organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In their remarks, participants highlighted the significance of Turkmenistan's policy aimed at preserving the national cultural heritage, developing international humanitarian cooperation, and strengthening intercultural dialogue.

The exhibition featured examples of national decorative and applied arts, carpet products, traditional costumes and jewelry, photographic materials, as well as publications dedicated to the achievements of Independent Neutral Turkmenistan.

The exhibition served as a vivid testament to the rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and their contribution to the development of universal spiritual values.
