President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on June 4 received Cevdet Yılmaz, a Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye and a Chairman of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation from the Turkish side, who arrived in our country on a visit. As emphasized, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye pay special attention to cooperation in integrating advanced technologies and the latest scientific achievements across various sectors, as well as the consistent modernization of their national economies.

Given the impressive economic potential of both countries, the interlocutors stressed the need for a regular exchange of views to elevate interaction in this area to a qualitatively new level. In this regard, they noted the significance of the activities of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission, the Business Council, and exhibitions organized on a bilateral basis.

Continuing on the topic, it was noted that the Exhibition of Export Goods of Turkmenistan was successfully held in Istanbul from July 2 to 5 last year. In turn, a large-scale Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Türkiye was organized in Ashgabat from February 10 to 12 of this year. The results of such expos stimulate the advancement of bilateral trade and economic relations to a higher level, while also facilitating the intensification of business contacts with Turkish companies and the active attraction of investment.
