On the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, on May 25, the capital hosted the ceremonial opening of new socially significant facilities. The commissioning of modern residential buildings in the Büzmeýin and Bagtyýarlyk districts of the city became another clear demonstration of the successful implementation of Turkmenistan’s socially oriented state policy, as reported by the electronic newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden Age.”

The opening ceremony of a 5-story 60-apartment building and a 5-story 80-apartment building located in the 8th residential complex of the Büzmeýin district was accompanied by musical and song performances by artists and children’s creative groups. The celebrations were given a special flavor by traditional national customs characteristic of Turkmen housewarming ceremonies.

During the solemn event, keys to apartments in the new residential buildings were presented to happy families. Participants of the ceremony were also given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the living conditions created in the apartments.

The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by the commissioning of 78 two-story, five-room cottage-type residential houses in the Choganly residential complex of the Bagtyýarlyk district of the capital.

The happy residents expressed their deep gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag for their continuous attention to ensuring that every family is provided with modern and comfortable housing.
