Within the framework of the 25th International Multi-Profile Exhibition and Conference «White City Ashgabat – 2026» (WCA 2026), a document signing ceremony was held with the participation of representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan, the country’s ministries and agencies, as well as leading international companies. The event marked an important step in strengthening intersectoral cooperation in the fields of digital technologies, energy, transport infrastructure, heavy industry, and urban development.
One of the key outcomes was the signing of a multilateral Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, and the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan with Bitdeer Technologies Group (Republic of Singapore). The document is aimed at developing modern digital infrastructure and technological ecosystems, as well as supporting economic diversification and accelerating the digital transformation of key sectors.
The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan signed an agreement with the Japanese company Muroosystems Corporation, providing for cooperation in innovative technologies and the modernization of the energy sector.
Special attention was paid to industrial cooperation. A State Concern «Türkmenhimiýa» signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an international consortium comprising Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation Machinery Inc. (Japan), as well as Çalık Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Türkiye). The agreement provides for cooperation in the maintenance and repair of the ammonia-urea complex “Garabogazkarbamid.” In addition, the State Concern «Türkmenhimiýa» signed a Memorandum with Hong Kong Richie Sweet Co., Ltd. (PRC), aimed at expanding production capacities and investment cooperation.
In order to further develop the transport and infrastructure sector, the Ministry of Automobile Roads of Turkmenistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the German company Inros Lackner SE, and also concluded agreements with Chinese companies Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Sinotruk Hong Kong Capital Holding Limited, covering machinery supply, fleet modernization, and logistics infrastructure development.
In addition, the Ashgabat city administration signed a number of contracts with the economic society «Gök depeler» for the design and construction of two schools, each with a capacity of 720 students, as well as a kindergarten for 320 children in the Bagyr residential complex of the Büzmeýin etrap. A contract was also concluded with the private enterprise «Hil merkez» for the construction of a modern medical center for the residents of the district.
The signing ceremony highlighted the comprehensive nature of development within the WCA 2026 forum and confirmed Turkmenistan’s course toward expanding international cooperation, digital transformation, industrial modernization, and the sustainable development of urban infrastructure.
