Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent two purebred Turkmen Alabays named Alabay and Alaja as a gift to the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, as a symbol of friendship between the two countries. This unique gift, sent on behalf of the Turkmen people, was received by the Tatar side with special gratitude and a sense of great enthusiasm. This was reported by the electronic newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Currently, the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, including its major region, the Republic of Tatarstan, is being consistently strengthened. Relations in such crucial sectors as energy, transport, and high technologies are rising to a qualitatively new level. The decisions made during the visit of Hero-Arkadag to the Republic of Tatarstan will also give a powerful impetus to the further activation of bilateral cooperation.

As part of the relations between the two countries, there is also a mutual exchange of experience in developing dog breeding traditions. It is well known that the National Leader had previously gifted an Alabay named Akdost to the Head of Tatarstan. The delivery of the newly sent Alabays became another clear symbol of respect for the historical commonalities of the two peoples. This event will make a great contribution to promoting purebred Turkmen Alabays in Tatarstan and developing scientific relations in this field.

The Turkmen Alabays brought to the Tatar land quickly adapted to the new conditions and amazed everyone with their unique characteristics, such as loyalty and protective qualities.
