On May 24, the XXV Multidisciplinary International Exhibition and Conference "White City Ashgabat," organized in the capital on the occasion of Ashgabat City Day, will solemnly begin its work. In his congratulatory letter to the participants of the international forum and dear guests, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov cordially congratulated them on the glorious holiday, noting that this event will be of great importance in popularizing to the international community the high milestones achieved by our capital, which holds a worthy place among the comprehensively developed cities of the world. This major event, held in the year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses», will serve as an important business platform for presenting new innovative projects in the field of urban planning and architecture, a comfortable urban environment, and modern digital public services. As emphasized in the congratulatory message of the Head of State, magnificent buildings that harmoniously blend national architectural principles with modern practices, some of which are entered in the Guinness World Records, continuously enhance the beauty of Ashgabat. The use of "smart" home technologies and renewable energy sources for the people's life and livelihood stands as the primary task of state policy.

At present, Ashgabat is not only the administrative, industrial, cultural, and scientific center of our country, but also an internationally recognized city. In various years, our capital was admitted to the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, the World Federation of Tourist Cities, and last year, it was included in the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. This current multidisciplinary exhibition and conference will also make a great contribution to the further rapid development of our beautiful capital, the study of advanced practices, and the continuous strengthening of international cooperation.
