A National Leader of the Turkmen People, a Chairman of a Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited an International Equestrian Complex in Kazan during his visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».

There, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and a Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, viewed an exhibition of Tatarstan's agricultural products organized at the complex. The exhibition featured various types of food products. Specialists introduced the Hero Arkadag to the exhibition.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan inquired about works of art dedicated to horses. A special place in this section of the exhibition is given to the Hero-Arkadag's book, «Atda wepa-da bar, sapa-da» («A Horse – a Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness»), published in Russian.

The Hero-Arkadag and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan then watched the horse races, in which Turkmen riders also participated.

A master jockey B. Agamyradov won the races decisively. His success inspired the Turkmen representatives throughout the tournament.

Representing Turkmenistan, riders competed in this year's races on Tatar horses. In the competitive atmosphere, our athletes demonstrated their skill and, as Hero-Arkadag noted, their fortitude, winning prizes.

Prizes were established at the races in honor of Akhal-Teke horses, and Turkmen jockeys were awarded these prizes.

Our country's riders demonstrated their professionalism in another 1800-meter horse race. B. Berdimuhamedov finished first in this competition.

The awards ceremony followed. The National Leader of the Turkmen People presented cups to the Turkmen jockeys who won the race and congratulated them on their success.
