The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan, Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin. This was reported by the press service of the country's foreign policy agency.

As noted in the report, during the meeting held on April 27 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, issues related to upcoming meetings at the highest state and government levels were considered.

The parties noted the consistent development of relations between the two countries in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was also emphasized that this year marks the 30th anniversary of cooperation with Turkmenistan for the Malaysian company "PETRONAS," which has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector.

During the conversation, the effectiveness of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in the field of education was confirmed. It was also mentioned that Turkmen specialists participate in training courses and seminars under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program.
