Currently, various celebrations are being widely held in our country on the occasion of the National Day of the Turkmen Horse. An important qualifying round of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Beauty Contest was organized at the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex. In this competition, 20 of the most beautiful horses competed against each other for a place in the final stage. This was reported by the International Information Center of Turkmenistan.

During the competition, the jury evaluated the horses in three stages. First, the pedigree and movement characteristics of the horses were studied, followed by an assessment of their appearance and harmony with the syis (trainer). In the final moments, the horses were decorated with national jewelry and brought to the field, where the judges analyzed the perfection of their physical structure in detail.

Based on the results of the tests, 10 horses with the best performance indicators won the right to participate in the final of the competition. These specific horses will compete in the final stage for the high title of "Most Beautiful Akhal-Teke Horse of the Year."

As is known, the National Day of the Turkmen Horse is solemnly celebrated at the state level every year on the last Sunday of April. This holiday is of great importance in promoting the ancient history and modern development of Turkmen horse breeding to the world community.
