Turkmenistan, together with major tourism companies from Central Asian countries, is working on organizing travel routes along the Great Silk Road. This was stated by the Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, Atageldi Shamuradov, at the “Turkmentravel 2026” conference.

According to him, special attention is paid in Turkmenistan to the development of the tourism sector and the expansion of international cooperation. In particular, cooperation has been established with a number of international organizations in this field.

Shamuradov also announced plans to develop tourism packages titled “One Tour – the Whole Region,” which will make it possible to organize trips along routes covering all monuments along the Great Silk Road.
