On March 28, the National Leader mof the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he held a meeting of the Board of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. At the start of the meeting, Hero-Arkadag gave the floor to the Vice-President for Medical Activities of the Fund, Oguljahan Atabayeva. It was reported that since the Fund’s establishment, 758 operations have been performed, and 2,467 children have received appropriate treatment at the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, where procedures are carried out comprehensively using a combination of innovative technologies and locally sourced natural remedies. Next, Vice-President of the Fund, Rejep Bazarov, presented a report. He noted that pediatric departments in hospitals in the capital and regions had received hemodialysis devices produced by B. Braun (Germany), which significantly improved the recovery outcomes for children. Reporting on the construction of a mosque in the city of Fizuli (Azerbaijan) funded by the Charity Fund, Bazarov emphasized that this initiative serves as a tangible example of the triumph of the humanitarian ideals of the Turkmen people, committed to noble principles. Following this, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, provided an update on the progress of the second phase of the new city’s development. The Mayor of Arkadag, Gulshat Mammedova, reported that the mayor’s office had completed the necessary organizational preparations for the upcoming celebratory event at Square “Arkadag Binasy” , dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Fund’s establishment. Regarding the further improvement of the Charity Fund’s activities, Hero-Arkadag issued a series of directives. Addressing the participants of the meeting, Hero-Arkadag noted that this year marks the 5th anniversary of the Fund’s founding.
