Turkmen diplomat paid a working visit to the Grodno Region of the Republic of Belarus
On March 26–27, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus, N. Shagulyyev, paid a working visit to the Grodno Region of the Republic of Belarus. On March 26, a ceremonial event was held at State University of Grodno named after Yanka Kupala in connection with the declaration of 2026 as the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds” as well as on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Independence. As part of the event, a presentation was also held of the new book by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, entitled “Neutrality of Turkmenistan – A Bright Path of Peace and Trust.” Turkmen and other international students studying at the university, as well as members of the faculty, took part in the event. A meeting was organized between the Turkmen diplomat and the leadership of State University of Grodno named after Yanka Kupala. During the meeting, issues related to studying bilateral experience within the framework of scientific and educational cooperation were discussed. In the concluding part of the ceremonial event, a separate meeting was held with Turkmen students studying at the university in order to conduct an educational and explanatory discussion. On March 27, Ambassador N. Shagulyyev familiarized himself with the academic buildings of State University of Grodno named after Yanka Kupala, its educational structure, as well as the living conditions of Turkmen students.
