A meeting of the Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States of America was held in Ashgabat. During the talks held on March 27 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the current state and future prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the USA were discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of conducting regular and meaningful dialogue at various levels and noted the high efficiency of the existing cooperation mechanisms in this field. In this regard, the effectiveness of the Turkmen-American Business Council's activities, including its annual meetings, was particularly highlighted. During the working group meeting, special attention was paid to expanding investment cooperation and implementing joint projects involving American companies. Noting the great potential of the bilateral economic agenda, the parties emphasized the importance of effectively utilizing these opportunities to bring the partnership to a qualitatively new level, as well as the need to coordinate joint efforts to ensure sustainable economic growth and diversify mutual trade turnover.
