International conference on Humanitarian principles held in Ashgabat
An International conference titled “Ynsanperwerlik ýoly” was held in a hybrid format at the conference hall of the “Arçabil” Hotel, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence. During the event, a wide range of issues related to cooperation with major international organizations was discussed, particularly with the National Red Crescent Societies of various countries, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. It was noted that collaboration with these structures enhances the knowledge and skills of staff and volunteers of the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, while also expanding opportunities for the exchange of experience. As emphasized in the delegates’ speeches, the activities of the National Red Crescent Societies align with the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement — humanity, independence, and voluntary service. This serves as clear evidence of the effectiveness of joint efforts and the high level of implementation of adopted decisions. Participants of the conference expressed sincere gratitude to the top leadership of Turkmenistan for the high level of organization of the event, assuring that they would make every effort to implement the proposed initiatives in line with contemporary realities.
