The Minister of Motor Roads of Turkmenistan, Hangeldi Kerimov, held a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Ravshanbek Alimov. The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of road construction. They also considered aspects of developing transport and transit corridors between the two countries. The interlocutors noted that the construction and opening of the Ashgabat–Turkmenabat high-speed highway will contribute to the growth of trade turnover and freight transportation between the two countries, as well as the development of international transit routes. At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen practical cooperation, including through organizing mutual visits, expert working meetings, and the implementation of joint projects.
