On March 17, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the participants of the exhibition dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as the international forum “Investments in the Future of Turkmenistan,” on the opening of the events. “Investment initiatives of Turkmen entrepreneurs are becoming increasingly successful, making a significant contribution to the country’s economic growth. It is gratifying that representatives of the private sector demonstrate a high sense of responsibility in implementing the projects and activities entrusted to them in the interests of the state and society. The Program ‘Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State: National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052’ places great importance on public-private partnership and the active involvement of entrepreneurs in priority sectors under market conditions. In the modern era, Turkmen entrepreneurs are carrying out large-scale work to implement state policy in the field of scientific and technological reforms, making wide use of the opportunities of the digital economy, and developing industry, agriculture, and the service sector in line with modern requirements. Our private producers, who have become the driving force of a new economic direction, are implementing strategically important projects, making a substantial contribution to the development of the national economy and improving the well-being of the people. Modern production facilities are being commissioned in the private sector, focused on producing import-substituting, competitive, and export-oriented goods, which contribute to the creation of new jobs and the strengthening of food and commodity abundance in the country,” the head of state noted. “In our independent and permanently neutral Turkmenistan, state support for entrepreneurship will continue. I am firmly confident that under the auspices of sacred independence and permanent neutrality, which are the source of all our achievements, successes, and prosperity, domestic entrepreneurs will continue to work diligently,” the President of Turkmenistan emphasized.
