Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the concluding seminar of the Central Asia and Caucasus Security Project (CCASP) in Tokyo. The event was organized by the World Customs Organization (WCO) with the support of the Government of Japan. The seminar focused on combating the illicit cross-border movement of small arms and light weapons, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles. During the three-day program, customs officials from the region discussed the results of conducted training activities, shared national experiences, and familiarized themselves with advanced border and customs control methods used by the Japanese Customs Service. In its report, the Turkmen delegation paid special attention to the Control and Analytical Center, ensuring its transport analysis, and speeding up customs clearance procedures.
